AB  - In December 2014, a total of 3 Siberian sturgeon were presented to the Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory of Veterinary Hospital of Shahid Chamran University. Iran with infected wounds and pustules distributed over their flanks. All samples were collected from a private fish farm, clinical signs and mortality. The wounds were deep and affected the underlying musculature and kidneys of some samples. Aseptic bacteriologic sampling was performed using TSA and blood agar. After histopathological sampling, the wet smear was taken from the wound to determine possible protozoan infection. Bacteria were isolated from all 3 fish. Gram staining, biochemical tests and PCR analysis confirmed the bacteria as <i>Aeromonas hydrophila</i>. Histopathological inspection revealed ulcers, haemorrhagic dermatitis, myositis, suppurative hepatitis and nephritis. According to the signs, pathological changes and bacteriologic samples, <i>Aeromonas hydrophila </i>may be regarded as the causative agent of the fish mortality.
